P&G Consolidates Cincinnati Operations

Moves employees to headquarters, plans to sell two buildings

Procter & Gamble will transfer 750 employees from an office complex in Winton Hills, OH to its headquarters in downtown Cincinnati.

Another 100 independent contractors and suppliers who work alongside the employees in the supply management logistics division at P&G’s Winton Hill Business Center will also make the move to the Central Building downtown between October and December  2017.

The consolidation will help the consumer products giant make better use of its assets, executives told the Cincinnai Journal. P&G will try to find a buyer for two buildings that will be vacated.

The largest of the buildings was the home to the Folgers Coffee business before P&G spun it off to Smuckers. P&G now occupies 12 buildings on the 265-acre campus of its Winton Hill Business Center, which the company owns.

The third and fourth floors of the Central Building are being renovated to accommodate the influx of workers.
